Ideas for you and the family!

Learn to cook or find new recipes

David Beckham, Geri Horner and Henry Cavill all used their free time during lockdown to improve upon their cooking skills. With an array of recipe books at your disposal, you can start with the basics and learn as you go.

You could also practice meal prepping for the week for when you return to work, it will save you time each evening / morning before work and can even save you money if you are in the habit of buying lunch. In addition, meal prepping could encourage healthier eating for you and your family!

Organise your clothing

Whilst you have some free time why not sort through your clothing and shoes?

Most of us have at least one top that we know we will never wear again or a pair of jeans that just don’t fit the way they used to. This is a good reason to re-arrange your wardrobe and get rid of those items that have not left your wardrobe in months.

A good way to organise is to create 3 separate piles; the first being keep, the second sell and the third to give to charity. This way you are making the most of your un-wanted items by giving them a second chance for someone else. If something is beyond a second chance, find your nearest clothing bank and recycle.

Update your CV

I am sure a lot of you have not seen your cv for many years and it will be surprising how much you have achieved in that time which you can add onto it! Rather than putting it off any longer, why not give all of your professional documents and accounts a total makeover. It will make you feel good and could even make a potential employer intrigued.

Play a board game

Escape technology gather the family and play a board game. This can be a fun way to bond and forget about the internet world.

Deep clean your home

This is a great idea to get everyone in your household involved. Delegate each person a job and this way you can get through cleaning quicker. It will give you all something to do, make you feel much better and even get a sweat on.

Wash your makeup brushes

Anyone who wears makeup is probably guilty of leaving their brushes far too long without giving them a good clean. Not to worry, stuck in doors for a bit why not give them a wash whilst your makeup is not in use! Your best beauty brushes can accumulate dead skin cells and oils over time so it is important to keep them nice and clean. You will not have to worry about how long they will take to dry either!

Request a free loft survey

Spray foam insulation can make a huge difference to your home with energy savings and comfort. Our surveyors are trained to identify existing damp in your loft space and demonstrate the benefits of the spray foam insulation to leave you in no doubt about it’s attributes.
