Lapolla has been providing companies with state-of-the-art Spray Foam since 1977. Their products are available in 39 countries and 4 continents. They were the first company to commercialise modern, high quality Spray Foam technology. Their company ethos is to improve energy efficiency and sustainable building practice.
Lapolla Spray Foam begins as a liquid but once sprayed it forms into an insulating layer. The material protects your home from outside air and in turn air escaping, saves on utility bills, prevents mold and harmful airborne pollutants. Lapolla goes above and beyond to increase the standard in energy efficiency and sustainable building practices. Lapolla takes pride in being a well-respected leader in high performance Spray Foam Insulation.
Solar Panels allow you to generate your own electricity. Generating your own electricity will reduce your bills. The energy that you do not consume can also be stored in batteries which will save you even more money. Another option would be selling your spare energy which increases the benefits dramatically.
Impact on the Environment
Solar energy has the least negative impact on the environment compared to any other energy source. It does not produce greenhouse gases or pollute the water. Solar energy also does not create any noise, which is a major benefit for those who live in urban areas. Enjoy the peace and quiet whilst protecting the planet!
How is Lapolla installed?
Lapolla Foam Insulation is installed by fully trained, licensed Lapolla contractors who spray the solution into open building envelope such as studded walls, ceilings and floors.
The solution can be safely sprayed directly onto electrical and plumbing. For renovation projects, Icynene’s LD-CP-50 pour foam solution is used. This product is simply injected into small holes drilled into plaster or gypsum faced walls, or from the outside of the wall, whichever provides the easiest access to the cavities. In each case, a fully trained, licensed Lapolla contractor must install the product. Lapolla foam insulation products are not Do-It-Yourself (DIY) products.

Open Cell Foam
Open-cell Spray Foam is a thermal insulation material that will expand 120 times its original volume. When fitted the foam fills cavities of any shape, and bonds closely to most building materials and framing members.
Closed Cell Foam
Closed-cell Spray Foam Insulation is one of the most effective Insulating materials. This type of foam provides an inherent air barrier with low moisture vapor permeability. The density of the Foam provides great strength to wall assemblies in building applications.
